One day you receive an urgent summons from an old friend, a brilliant archaeologist who has spent his life searching for the link that he believes exists between ancient civilizations and the legendary lost city of Atlantis. And he thinks he has finally found that link at a remote dig on Easter Island... an alien Time Gate! But by the time you arrive there he has already disappeared through the portal, leaving you only a journal of his previous experiences and his theories, plus an instant camera for use on your own journey through time.

So to solve the mystery, you must travel from Easter Island to the civilizations of the ancient Egyptians, Maya, the Anasazi of the American Southwest, and Atlantis, always arriving at the moment immediately following that culture's disappearance.

The game contains a tremendous variety of fascinating and challenging puzzles, all seamlessly integrated into the story, many of which are indigenous to the time and customs of the place.

Timelapse is a huge and very well designed game, with gorgeous graphics, and a zillion puzzles.
